With a chance of Severe Storms in Oklahoma, and possibly even tornadoes, I decided to venture out after work. I had a few technical issues, but was on my way up to I-40 and west.
Just before hitting El Reno and US-81 there was storms starting to fire in what i considered a better environment to the south near Frederick. So I dropped south on 81 to Chickasha and then east.
Unfortunately that was about it, as the storms really failed to become robust. The MCS coming out of the Texas Panhandle turned into the main show, and I decided to forego that and meet Tom and Shannon at Meers since neither had been there before.
