Shear was lacking on this day, but a lot of CAPE and some nice upper level winds at the anvil level lead to 0-8km shear being marginally good for supercells.
Unfortunately only one supercell would pop up, but most of the evening was full of multi cellular storms. They provided a great light show and some light hail, so that is good.
Got some good lightning over the city of Altus and then over the Wichita Mountains before heading home and going to bed to a nice thunderstorm rolling through
