What a crazy day the 21st was. I never got any sleep from the day before and was live on CNN around 7:30 AM before we hit the road for Texas to go chasing. We drove south of DFW metro before deciding we needed to get further south to almost Austin if we were going to see anything.
We headed down I-35E from Waxahachie to intercept storms down west of Temple. Unfortunately we got to the storms about the time they were gusting out along I-35 and didn’t see anything even remotely tornadic.
We followed the storms east and south towards Cameron before giving up and heading back to Temple to get some Texas Roadhouse.
